Questions for Whats art?

1. I think the mood in the images seems to be settle and serious. The models expressions shows a typical pose. In the first image the model is facing the side while in the other image the models face is tilted back.
2. I think the the picture was created using oil paint because you can see the hand prints and strokes. The second image looks like photoshop because of the hair.
3. The colors in both images gives the mood more of a bold feeling. It makes it look like there is a deeper meaning with many details.
